I just bought my 08 KK over a month ago, has 36k on the dial, I have put 1k on it so far. Over the weekend I had a tire blow out. The side wall split. I check the air in the tires the other day and they had about 30 psi in each. After looking at the other tires closer the front tires have 2 thin cracks in the walls as well. The tires are stock Goodyear wrangler p225/75/r16's.
I know my dad has issues on his ford edge with the tires dry rotting at 25k.
I am going to the dealer to get them replaced. Has anyone else had the same problem?

I am surprised stock tires lasted that long. Go else where to get tires cheaper,

Do not replace them with the same junk OEM tires.The dealer is fine for buying tires,they are not marked up like the parts and will in most cases price match.Jeep dealers are a very good place to buy tires,well around here in CO it is since they stock all the good ones .

Yeah they don't stock any good ones around here they think you should buy the same as what came on stock
