Was hopin to get a run for the Colorado Rockies Crew. Just looking to get something started. Ideas would be nice. Places and dates is a great place to start. Was thinkin the first weekend of September. Its a 3 day weekend for most so hopefully a day trip is something that most can do. Some where near the Buena Vista area since its all most right in the middle for most. There are alot of awsome rigs on this sight and it would be nice to share ideas and stories.

I'm in. Lots of great trails to run. Only need to figure out what difficulty level of trail we want, as some like me have a fairly stock setup.

I doubt I will have my break in miles done by Labor day.... Would be up for it if I can get a lot of driving done... Monday or Sunday would be best for me. If no miles for me, could at least do a meet and greet. Sat the 3rd is the Home opener for the USAFA Football season, so I will be there with my Squad.

Maybe this should get moved to the Rockies section...

Lets do something, even if it is just a meet and greet

Would anybody be interested in going over mosquito pass in the next few weeks or so? It looks to be finally passable, and I have been wanting to go over it forever. I found this site that helps with trail conditions.

Have fun

Depending on when/where you guys decide, I might be able to make a drive down there to play. My Jeeps only 2wd atm but I got 3" of lift, decent tires, lo-range, and some steel to protect everything underneath. Oh, and excellent recovery points. Thanks Detours. Like I said, depending on where/when. Labor day wkd would be perfect... IF the trail's not too tough. Or maybe I'll just drive the Wag... :JEEPIN: That would require a LOT more gas, though. :?: :dizzy: :?

Well Chinaman's would not be the trail you'd ever want to do in only 2wd.

China wall would be 2wd stuff since they graded it.

It's up to you southern folks. I'd just be tagging along, if I make it at all. So, don't let me sway your choices, please.

I've never been to Chinaman before, so I'm going to need some directions coming from Denver. Also what the staging area will be and what time in the morning to meet. I am might plan to bring the family camping for the weekend in that area, and break off on my own for the wheeling. Anyone know of a good camp spot around that area? Thanks for any recommendations.

There is alot of good camping around there. Pretty much any road off of 285 after the Coney Island Hot Dog stand :ROTFL: . Meet up time would be around 9ish. That would give us a good amount of time. Just let me know if this works of everyone else going. I got the whole day to play. As for directions www.traildamage.com is your best bet.
