Has anybody had this happen to their KJ? Getting a LOT of water leaking in. What started out as a drip here drip there six months ago is now practically a torrent of water coming in whenever we get a good rain. Luckily I have a garage or it would be much worse. Water is coming in through both center anchor points of the sunvisors. Ignored it up to this point (geeting a new vehicle in the next year or so) but I think it has gotten to the point that I need to fix it. Here are some photos of the top of the windshield where it meets the roof. Significant bubbling and I'm sure rust has occured. Any idea what I need to get done here? Not sure if the roof lights have anything to do with this or is it just coming in at the w/s seal? Thanks for the help. This is an 02 Liberty Renegade.

Hard to tell for sure but it appears you have some serious rust issues going on there. I would take it to a body shop and let them take a look at it. To repair it properly you'd more than likely have to pull the windshield and then cut/ grind out the rust and weld in new metal
But then do you have a sunroof, if so water may be getting in there as well
looking back I see a sunroof, have you checked the drains for it?
But you REALLY need to repair the windshield rust as well

Yes I have a sunroof and have not checked the drains. I took it to a friend of mine who is a Honda mechanic and he thinks it's coming through the top of the windshield but is not sure. He says he has a "water leak guy" at work who specializes in leaks and he hopes to take it to work in the near future and have him look at it.

I believe, as you do, that this will be a significant repair involving removing the windshield. My dilema is that I am planning on getting a new car within the next year (New Grand Cherokee) so I don't want to pile a bunch of money into this car. But is sucks having a car that I basically can't leave outside or drive in the rain. Do I repair now or just live with it for the next year or so? This sounds expensive to me...

File it under your insurance and it will only cost you your deductable. From the pics it's most likely going to require a new roof skin.

Insurance would cover that? Really?
