Im currently in Egypt right now and have been wanting to purchase different rims and tires for my '02. I came up with the idea of getting 17's for the soul purpose of having them on a lifted KJ around my way when i am one of very few around my way that are "accesorized". here are some of my options i've been contiplating.

TIRES---in a 265/70R17

what do you think of the fitment problems if any?
and whats your opinion on the wheel choices?
im game for any negative comments on the wheel types. thats why im asking the public

What color is your truck? I personally prefer black wheels on any color other than silver, and silver on a silver truck.

I like this one. Just my personal preference. I can't comment any possible fit issues however

Are they all alloy? I'm guessing the first one might be steel. That's another thing to consider

I'm running that Nitto Terra Grappler in the same size 265/70R16. I also only have like 2" of lift tops, so you should be good. I didn't get to drive on the tire alot before I deployed. However, what little I did use it it seemed ok. On the road it had some noise but nothing like a huge swamper. Off road though I kinda wish I had more of a mudder. For a DD that only see's road, sand stuff like that I'd say they are ok.

Since you did not post what width the wheels are and what backspacing then its hard to say what may or may not work

a 265/70x17 = 31.6 x 10.4, so ill be right where i need to be as far as height of the tire.

yea, why not 9" wide wheels? im running an 8" now with an 11.5" tires dont think 1" will dcause any problems. i mean if there is someone on here thats running a 9" wide wheel and is having problems let me know, then i'll consider an 8". if they dont fit all that great, i'll just put them on my TJ then. i know they'll fit there.

Depends on type of tire you end up with and also how much bumpstops you have, plus if you twist it up any off road etc. If its going to the mall OK, but I know what problems even my 8 inch are with 5 inches of backspacing, have to run more bumpstop than I like to keep the fenders on
