Got it figured out!

OK its official...I have pictures. Here is the story for all of you wanting to do this lift...*THE BILSTEINS DO NOT WORK WITH THE OME SPRINGS*...SO this is what is installed:

FRONT

OME 2927 Coils
OME NS131 Shocks

REAR

OME 2731 Coils
Skyjacker N8088 Shocks

The rear is a little bit bouncier than what I would have liked, but all in all the thing rides like a darn mercedes! Not only that but here are the measurements:

FRONT BEFORE: 18 1/4"

REAR BEFORE: 18 3/4"

FRONT AFTER: 20 3/4"

REAR AFTER 21"

Ok without further BSing..here are the before and after pics. Also, I am taking flat stanley out this week for a camping trip, so dont miss those pictures later on!

Sick!! I'm glad someone finally got this lift in... Was waiting for the longest time for the last person to install theres. Did you buy the coil springs from him?

Dude! Looks great! Now I'm definitely ordering these. I'm on the fence with shocks though. I keep reading real good things about the BDS shocks especially for the price. What's the story on the rear Bilstiens not working?

Are these the medium-duty springs?

Well it turns out the rear bilsteins werent long enough. And yeah, its the medium duty springs. Thanks all for the props! Like I said flat stanley is going with us camping and we will have some pics! :CAMPING:

i have more lift and my bilstein shocks are plenty long.

if youre looking at bds shocks check out zone also. zone and bds are made by the same manufacture but the zone are even cheaper. my buddy has zone on his TJ and it made a world of difference in ride compared to whatever he had on before.

is there a reason you used skyjacker rear shocks instead of OME-N132?

OME 132s are stock length not for lifted anything
on the KJs we use the 132Ls if going with OMEs

I see a lot of KJs used the rancho rsx 17004 with the emu lift. will the ranchos fit the KK? how would they perform compared to the skyjackers?

They quite making the RSX line about a year ago, bad move on Ranchos part due to working really well

i've heard skyjackers are notoriously stiff at first, but once they are worn, in they are great.

I know of a KJ and a KK running these
designed to carry extra weight but ride is good or so I've been told :ROTFL:
