JerseyKK. Wanna sell your HID's?

I would, except when I took them out they basically fell apart. They are completely useless now. They were such a waste of money anyways.

Just turned 70K miles
purchased the lifetime bumper to bumper warranty a couple of years back when the local Jeep dealer was a GMC dealer, and Jeep had just dumped them. I went to the local Dodge/Chrysler dealer, which pretty much looked like a ghost town at the time, and purhced the lifetime bumper to bumper warranty from them.

So recently my Jeep did not start late one evening..

Called warranty service, had it jumped and drove it home. On the way home every warning light on the dash was going on/off and finally, the check engine light came on and stayed on.

Next morning, the Jeep did not start again. Called for a jump under warranty, and drove straight to the dealer.

The dealer replaced the alternator under my lifetime warranty.

I also asked him to do an oil change and transmission/flush/filter service. While he had it up on the rack, he noticed the water pump leaking. He also replaced the waterpump under warranty.

So I paid for an oil change, and transmission service, and got a new alternator, and water pump :)

Does that decrease your mileage at all?

I've been thinking of doing that myself.

I think it made a huge difference. It was super easy too. Took about 30 seconds. Just make sure you have either 3 plastic rivets or 3 flat head screws with lock nuts (what I used). There will be a gap left open and hanging when you remove the airdamn and you can't reuse the factory plastic rivets cause you gotta cut em off. At least on mine they didn't use the style that you can remove and reuse.

I took a look at mine today and it has a bunch of the ones you need to cut off and 4 of these things you turn and they pop out. Think those could be reused to secure the loose section?

Nope can't use the white plastic caps any more. Theres not enough material for them to lock once the darn is removed.

I used about 8-10 HD Zip ties, no problems so far. But, I haven't gone through a winter yet, and I know that plastic gets brittle in the cold so . . .idk

That should work. I used large head counter sunk screws and lock nuts. Maybe overkill but I know it will hold.

You are looking for new POM rivets.

Here is a kit that harbor freight sells..
