Firestone destination LE tires on there jeep?
To be honest the kj needs new tires here soon, and my 1500 gmc runs them, but i dont drive the truck wife does or ( more accurately) it sits in the driveway 95% of the time per week. From the lil bit i do drive it i like them, just wondering if anyones else has and thoughts on a kj, instead of fullsize truck.

I'm running them on my kj they work. I like them but I don't drive off road much. Winter driving is a little trickie as the tires don't grip on ice very well

I would go for the Destination ATs instead of the LEs
I ran the ATs the first winter I bought the KJ ( had to get rid of those stockers) they did great, quiet etc

Mkay, thanks for the input, here soon gotta drve from NC to AR for school training. Tires i got on atm arent stock, but crappy, the steel belt inside is shifting on one tire and has a crazy amount of lead balancing it out...i dont even use that much lead surf fishing

I have had Destination A/Ts on a few different rigs in the past and loved them. On my 2wd Liberty I put Destination LEs on it and while they are good on the road, last winter when we got quite a bit of snow I wish I had gotten the A/Ts instead.

I have the Destination LE's. I absolutely love them and would definitely purchase them again. They have done well off road and in the snow (when they were new) and work great on wet or dry pavement.

However, I wish I had went with the A/T's. The LE's don't look quite as good and I know when the LE's wear down more, they aren't going to performas well as the A/T's would have in the snow and mudd.

But, if I didn't off-road nor drive in the snow often, I would definitely purchase them again in a heartbeat.

They are wearing very well too.

How are the AT's off road? I need to get new tires in the next few weeks and I'm looking at them, AT2's, or BFG's. I can get a pretty good deal on the Firestone's though. Anyone have experience with the Dueler AT's?

We've heard good things from customers about the Revo II's.

Agreed.

I think I've narrowed it down to the Revo II's and Duratrack's in the stock 225/75R16. They're within $30 of each other. Any suggestions?

Love my Duratracs
but they are a lot more aggressive tire than most of the regular AT type
I have over 30,000 miles on a set and still plenty of tread for this upcoming winter and I never run a tire till its worn out

I recently got a set of the Duratrac 225/75/16's on my Jeep and they are aggressive for sure... I must sound like everyone else too when I say they are not loud either IMO. They look great and thats the icing on the cake with Duratracs. I'll get some pics up of mine soon in the process of choosing a lift for it but the tires were an easy choice for my needs after doing allot of research.

Ordered a set of Duratracks today. Got a pretty good deal on them. They'll be installed on Saturday. Stay tuned for pics

Got the DuraTracs installed. I'm pretty pleased with them so far. Quieter than I expected. Image
