i bought a SEGR kit months ago..my fault for not building and installing ASAP..give me 20 lashes..I deserve them..darn..
well the other day the wife's jeeps was actiing funny..just not quite right..she drive to home and took the gasser pickup instead..oh ...well you know what that means....
yep long nights and what else to figure out the problem..

well I decided now was the time to install the SEGR that I got months ago....ok..many months ago..for those that are counting..
anyway..after about 2 hours and many triple checks on what I supposed to do and finding the darn wires(PIA!!!). I found them all and connected and somethings wrongs..it all worked..yes it worked..and the jeep runs like normal.
down side..you were waiting for this..
I checked the coolant temp in the computer..darn..156F...
I check today after the wife drive it around town..158F..darn!!
now its time for a new thermostat.I going with the inline mod.
for those that care..it has always been reading between 1/4 and 1/2..since we got the jeep(around 36K)..its now got 70Kmiles
looks like it has always been bad..we got it around 35K miles.
its a pitty that Chrysel/jeep didn't continue this model..if it dies I'm not sure what my wife will drive and this Jeep with the CRD is SWEET!.

shoot..if I could get a 4L diesel like this in a 1500 series pickup..I sell my 1500(gasser) and my 2500diesel(both dodges)..listening Dodge??
