Today was the first really warm weekend day this year, so we decided to launch our boats. Of course I had to pull my boat with my CRD :D
I was waiting for that since I bought my KJ. That little 4 Cylinder performed awesome. Great combination the CRD and a 19 foot boat.
Here are some pictures...

Nice!

Did you happen to check the mileage?

As I said, that little 4 Cylinder performed awesome. Much better than my brothers 1995 Grand Cherokee with the 4.0 I6.
I couldnt check the mileage since I only towed it 5 miles down the road to the boat ramp.

Minnesota is 10,000 lakes. Or Right now 10,000 ice rinks.

Can't wait to put the PWC in the water. Already got the battery charger on it.

I'm offended... Minnesota has 15,032 named lakes, but I think they named it Land of 10,000 lakes cause it's catchy... thought everyone knew that 1..

Great picts! The CRD does, indeed, perform magnificently with a load. It's hard to make it sweat!

Ohio is the land of that one muddy lake where you can drag your rear while you're trying to come up on your waterskis. Can't remember the name of that lake...somewhere near OSU. Nasty place. It was the only place we could find to ski that day though.

We'll be looking for a boat this summer. 18 to 24 foot seems a good load for the Liberty. The CRD could tow more, but the length starts getting you. How do you like your Caravell?

Depending on the weight, I would assume that everything over 20' is too much for the CRD. Considering its a normal ski boat like mine.
When I towed mine, it felt like it was the perfect combination, but also probably the biggest thing I woud tow with the CRD.
My dad has a 23' Caravelle interceptor and I definetley would NOT pull it with the CRD. I used to have a 1999 Grand Cherokee Limited with the V8 we would tow the Interceptor with, now that was a nice combination 8)

I like my Caravelle alot, I always refer to it as the Mercedes under the Boats :D And the thing I like most is the design, mine is a 2001 and my dads a 97, they look exactly the same, the bodystyle is never going to look old.

edit:
Here is my KJ with the trailer for the 23' boat. Clearly visible that the dimensions are kinda off :D
