IT'S STAINLESS AND IF ITS NOT IN TOO BAD OF SHAPE, MAYBE A GOOD WELDER COULD TAP IN BACK INTO PLACE AND WELD THE LEAKS. DO A SOAPY-WATER LEAK TEST SO YOU FIND ALL THE LEAKS, BEFORE YOU REMOVE IT. REMOUNT DAMMAGED SIDE UP. THERE WAS NOTHING IN THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT TELL YOU TO WATCH OUT FOR THE WAY YOU MOUNT IT (FOR ALL THE MONEY YOU SPEND). A REPLACEMENT FROM BORLA ???$$$$. FORGET THE LIFETIME WARRANTY. TRY TO GET IT FIXED. I'M LIKE YOU, I LOVE THE WAY THOSE DUAL POLISHED PIPES POINT OUT THE BACK. NOT ONLY CAN YA HEAR THEM, YOU CAN SEE THEM TOO! GOOD LUCK.

" Im looking for a deeper or throaty sound for my KJ, but i have a CRD. Any suggestions?"

It is legal to just straight pipe it. It will certainly sound deeper and more throaty and only run you 40 bucks or so. Probably louder than you want, however.

I have a Aeroturbine and it is more throaty at idle and slightly louder at cruise, just a little deeper tone overall (with the windows up). With the windows down, you can really hear the turbo hiss and whine- at times it sounds kinda like a jet when pushing the accelerator. What a happy sound.
:D

I put a glasspack on the CRD and it sounds good, very deep rumble at idle and a vacuum (previous poster said jet engine sound) when you really accelerate. Performace seems to be better.

I have the Delta Flow 50 Series from Flowmaster and as ARB Seth said it is a tank. It is just a little louder than stock and I like the throaty sound it makes.
