There are No Official L.O.S.T. runs going on During EJS. There may be folks from this forum there (like Adam) during EJS but not specifically for L.O.S.T. KJ runs. YOu should come out for the Official L.O.S.T. Moab event April 21st-30th.

ok JediJeeper some tips for you.....bring a great camera! bring a lot of batteries! and now i wanna see the faces on those traditional jeepers when you roll up with that monster  im sure this willl be their expression  now show them what it does on the trail and carry your LOST sticker in pride

Camera: Canon Digital Rebel XT w 8gb of Flash and It has the double battery grip.... Camera covered :-)

Been doing EJS for about 25 years now and last time we checked we had what amounted to about 25 lbs of developed pics and 4 DVDs of digitals :-) We had the libby (in its current form) down there last year and the year before last and there is always the guy who keeps requesting I do Potato Salad (or some other test) over and over so he can see if it will cut the mustard, but most people realize its just another rig and we are all there for fun :-)

To be honest, there is not a lot Liberty left about it in the drivetrain (except motor and trans) so its not as good of a statement about libbies as many on here that retain more of the standard drivetrain and still get out there and hit it hard.

As far as the LOST run.... the wife is still debating that one. The idea of doing the LOST run and not EJS is simply not an option for me so I have to figure out how to fund both trips (and seeing how I have a Nascar trip scheduled in March as well you can see how this may look difficult :-) ). All I can say for sure is that I will try!

Heck, I would donate a tank of gas to see it (and You too) show up at least for a couple days!

I was debating whether or not I'd be going this year...now that I know you're doing Metal Masher on Saturday, I'll be there for sure. (I'm going to try to do Friday, also, but I'm not quite ready for Moab Rim just yet...)

It'll be good to see you again! Especially in MOAB!!!

Yeah but what difference does that really make. How many of those hardcore Wrangler guys have done things like swap out for a Chevy small block with matching trans and a 4:1 transfer case with a jacked up suspension and still call it a Jeep. Remember, Jeeps are built, not bought. Or so I have heard. Just keep representing. :D

NOPE! I did it in stock rails. But I also didn't drop 1 ft onto the rails with full weight either (which would have totaled the stocks).

See you in 07 Eddo!

Anyone worrying about taking a stock KJ to Moab DON'T! Don't worry that is! You can still have a Blast in Moab w/ a stock KJ. There are plenty of scenic, easy trails to some Awesome views and there will be people available to get you to them and wheel during this event. The fun back at camp will also keep you happy too. Moab is a great place to visit even if you can't bring an off road capable vehicle. Lots to see and do there for sure.

Just go if you can and try harder to get there if you think you can't!
Regardless, Moab isn't going anywhere and if we don't see you there in 06, we will look for you in 07 and beyond!

JJ is right. Even if you are stock and very cautious, there are plenty of basically just dirt roads, that are gorgeous and really take you out of the city and into some beautiful canyons. Also, even if you don't want to wheel Moab is just a great place to visit. Great scenery, awesome hiking/backpacking/mountain biking and back country camping.

Plus the LOST guys and gals really do a heck of a job putting on a great event. Moab 05 was one of the best organized events I've attended (not just of wheeling events either). I would be there in a hear beat if there was anyway they would let me take a week off school. But I will be there for 07 for sure even though I will have probably be in the middle of a move.

Steve,

We're gonna get LOST without the Elvis Blvd street sign to send us in the right direction.
