I would have it looked at before you replace it to see if it can be repaired. It's a bullseye, but it did shatter a little inside the glass layers, maybe they can, maybe they can't, but I would check first myself.

I replace my windshield 3 years ago due to a crack, less than a month later another rock hit it. Been cracked ever since and not worried about it, unless its in the main sight line I'd say run it

Hah! What are the chances of that? The spot in mine is at the bottom of my field of vision, so it's kind of annoying. Plus from the looks of it, it is going to crack this winter.

The crappy thing about is that I only drive the Jeep like twice a week. And of course it didn't happen in the Ranger. :banghead:

I feel like the windshield in the KJ is a wall with a bullseye on it. But this is coming from the guy who drove a 97 Z/28 where the windshield is sloped at 45 degrees instead of 85. :lol:

My insurance said the deductible for a full windshield is $250. No thank you. :shock:

My insurance also pays for glass repair. $250 is cheap for a windshield. I am on my 3rd windshield and the last one cost me $225, if I remember right. Then again I am sorta a big deal around these parts, just sayin.........

Shouldn't hurt your speed. I do 70mph in my KJ with Interco Trxus MTs. That's the legal speed limit on the interstates and parkways in KY. My dad (a cop) clocked me and I what my speedo told me and what he had matched. :JEEPIN:
