 Post subject: jeep loses power and chugging

As anyone had the problem im having? i have a 2005 2.8 CRD and every few weeks the jeep will lose power and chug and shake like you would not believe! i pull over switch engine off and restart and its fine jeep is running on V-POWER DIESEL had jeep plugged into diagnosticbut coming up with nothing .Any ideas would be appreciated thanks.

Howdy Jon welcome to LOST

When's the last time you changed the Fuel filter?
do you have the new or old Fuel head?

have you read the Noob guide yet?

and just general principle - if you have a Diesel question - post if over in CRD.. Love that Torque - a fair number of folks don't look outside that section...

thanks for reply will look at the noob guide .jeep had new modified filter and primer pump last year .Also last year main dealer had my jeep in for 7 months (replaced ECU,PCM,VCM) new air filter last year thinking of putting in K&N Filter jeep as 52000 miles on clock .
