That silver one at geordi's was a Limited. Lots was learned by its owner and I've almost gotten all the grease off my hands.. More than well worth a weekend and a tank of fuel.

Had a double diesel CRD day today!

First was at about 11:10 am, southbound on I-95 at the Pooler, Ga exit. It was a blue limited, looked totally stock. The driver got off at that exit (102) and I lost sight of him. Looked like a young guy.

Second was about 90 minutes later at the Wal-Mart in Pooler, a White Sport. Had a chance to talk to the owner, a very nice lady that was extremely happy to meet another CRD groupie, and said that her husband would be looking us up here, and possibly talking to me about doing their timing belt - They are at 96k right now. She also said they would be looking to get a "tuneup" soon, as they have the ever present CEL due to something. I suspect that the boost hoses might be gone, it sounded like they might be stock and she said they have lots of black smoke.

If they see this, welcome to the forum!

I've seen several CRD's in the last couple months, but haven't had a chance to come in here and post. I saw my Jeeps twin on Powers, a few days later I fallowed one almost all the way home. I was behind it on powers, and it went exactly the same way I went. It even turned on the same street I live on, but went the opposite direction. It was a dark red, almost burgundy. There was a black one this morning on my way to work on powers with a lady driving. I honked and we waved at each other. And last night a silver one going the same way I was. He had a break light out, so I pulled up next to him to tell him. He is a member of the forum. :JEEPIN:

Just saw a blue sport on Abercorn by the Savannah Mall (Southside) turning toward the homes that are behind the mall... Gave a thumbs up to the young guy driving (and smoking, sadly) inside with his windows up... I think he saw, but didnt change directions to follow me into the mall.

Kinda hard to deliver either when the recipient is in heavy rush hour traffic and doing 30.

I just pity the next owner of that CRD, if there is one. I don't smoke and I don't really care if someone else does that to themselves... But it just ruins the interior of a vehicle to smoke inside it. I've tried cleaning the interiors of a couple cars that were owned by smokers... The tar is DISGUSTING, it gets on everything, and you can not ever truly get rid of the smell.

Some of the stagehands (ok, it really seems like most) I work with smoke, and they wonder why I have no interest in carpooling with them in their vehicles. Gah.
