Ok, so I have finally subdued some of my excitement enough to actually respond, after spending the last couple weeks trying to track down an aftermarket rear bumper replacement, since I got smacked by a drunk in a TRD.

I am about ready to get in line for yours and send a deposit! Just need to confirm a couple things (am current on the post, but still unclear)

1) Option with no hitch WILL bolt-on and clear the factory MOPAR receiver/wiring harness? (not sure how 06 Sport differs from 05 Renegade)
I'm not positive about the wiring harness. I'm going to need more info on that one. I modeled a mopar receiver when I built my gas tank skid last year, and didn't include this feature in my model. Other than the harness, it will clear the mopar hitch. It may require a little grinding on corners of the bumper mount angles however. Any info on the harness would help.

2) Any conflict with Kilby/SkidRow gastank skid? (or word on when you will be making one? 8) ) The bumper was designed to work with the mopar gas tank skid  or MY gas tank skid (see link in my signature). My skids are available for purchase. It actually looks killer with mine as my skid has some angles to it.

3) HighLift Jack Points! Preferably one on each side somewhere, similar to my ARB up front I'll have to work on this. I don't see why we can't add something, I'm just not sure how ARB does it or the best way for my bumper. Feel free to give me some ideas. I can add some though.

4) Can we get a cutout/mount for the factory license plate light? Required by law in Oregon Oregon requires the FACTORY light? We supplied meduncan with bolt style lights. There are two LED lights that double as the license plate mount bolts. There won't be a cutout in the bumper for the license plate or lights.
I truly am excited and thrilled by the effort you have put forth! Time and again I have heard how aftermarket Libby items have been phased out - was told by TrailReady today that they actually threw away their designs! So thanks again!

See answers in red. I've taken a month off of work on this to spend some time with the girls / regain sanity. I'll probably resume after the 1st as I've got some traveling to do until then. I'm willing to sell prototype #2 (and #3) before making one for my jeep. I could probably have one built in Sept, and another a month later. After all that I should be rolling and have a normal production turn around of 3-6 weeks. If you guys want prototypes (sooner and before final pricing is decided) PM me with what options you want and I'll give quote you a price. It may not be the price I'm selling them for later, but it might be lower, might be higher. Either way you'd get a bumper sooner as I probably won't have final production pricing until October at this rate.

Didn't read/see any mention of plate lights - law requires 50' illumination, NOT factory light - I am just trying not to miss anything!

Respones to response in blue...
Now all I need is to find some rear flare replacements and I am good to go until the next time I rip something free!

(at night license plate) "Must be visible at 50 feet..." is how the law reads.

The previous solution of LED mount bolts should suffice 8)

Here are the promised pics of MOPAR receiver mount, but it got dark and I was too tired to take good measurements tonight - the wiring harness mount is more or less a 4" cube, and the receiver mount is part of a 2.75" square tube assembly that bolts onto the frame.

I will provide pics of the ARB built highlift recovery points and measurements tomorrow.

I'm 90% sure that the receiver tube and wiring box are well below the bottom of my bumper. I'll have to check my models though, to be sure, and I won't be able to do that until at least Sunday. I'll get back with you.

Take your time, I am still waiting on the adjustor to cut me a check :P

What about the clearances for the gas tank skid in relation to the receiver mount? Not a lot of space in there (or anywhere else on where it matters)

I measured a hitch at the dealership and modeled it, then designed my gas tank skid to work with the modeled hitch. Finally, I tested the gas tank skid vs. yellocoyote's mopar hitch and it fit just like it was supposed to. So I've continued using that hitch model when designing the bumper.

If you order a skid and a bumper, I'll buy a mopar hitch and doublecheck that all can fit together, and will ensure that yours will upon arrival.

Was informed by my agent today that in order to restore my collision coverage, I need to have my vehicle restored to pre-accident condition... and since it is my daily driver, and fab-time is still in front of us, I am going to have to repair it stock for now...

This does not change my interest, merely when I get to go the way I want... I will take some pics of my ARB front tonight, to show the hi-lift points... can't wait to get this going.

That looks the answer to replace my stock spare bracket whick has vibrated the panel skin and cracked around the the lower 2 bolt fixings.(for the 2nd time)

Please tell me that you have patterns to suite 02 kj with standard mopar hitch, a long range tank and are able to ship to Australia.

I know that there are a number of kj owners here in Aus. who will purchase this if the numbers are economical enough.

Just use stainless bolts unlike ARB....I've spent more money than I care to replacing the crap fasteners from my ARB.

I talked to Chip ( Boiler) the other day, he still hasn't even built his own rear bumper yet so it maybe a while.
He's like most of us, life gets in the way of dreams sometimes and you have to take care of family and yourself first.

He has skids? I thought he had suspended the plans on skids?!

Edited to add: Nevermind. You were probably referring to the gas tank skid. I got excited there for a minute. :)
