So I was wondering what other local clubs you guys belong to. Thanks to TexasSara, I looked up and went to the Austin Jeep Exclusive club meeting last night. Seems like a great group of people, but I was the only modified KJ in a sea of Cj's and Wranglers.

Does the Lonestar LOST group ever do Texas trailrides or only big events like LOST MOAB? Or do you guys just join in with other clubs? Is everyone just too far away from one another?

I really want to get some trail time and prefer somewhere within a few hours away. And of course I would prefer someone with a KJ.

Hi onespeed - I'm local (Oak Hill), I haven't been on any rides in Texas - because until Sara started posting them I didn't have any idea they were around. I'll check out Austin Jeep Exclusive and see if I can make the next meeting.

I've only been to one Lonestar Lost meeting and that was the lift party at Waco. I think several folks have tried to organize more with some success but distance is an issue (not to mention work schedules)

The guys at Austin Jeep Exclusive are O.K. They were impressed with how my KJ performed. We need to get together again soon.

yall should try to set up a LoneStar lost run to Long Ranch in Llano. its a great place. They have a nice trails and camping on the llano river. the river is great for swiming in the summer.

Sara

Here is some infor on the ranch and Joes contact info.

$20.00 per rig/driver/tow rig
$ 5.00 per passenger(13 & up)
$ 5.00 per night camping/per rig
Our gate will open Friday afternoon around 5:00.
There will be camping Friday night with early
registration. Saturday we will start wheeling around
8:00, then we will break for lunch. We will have an

river that is an option. Our last run on Saturday

What date is this happening on? Or is this just general information about what usually happens?

its just general information its open most weekend or you can call joe and reserve it. if you have like 15 truck or jeeps to come out, AJE is going to go on the 9 of May i think.

If yall get a LOST run that would be great. oh and if yall want Nates a trail guide at the Yo and Wallnut creek Im sure he would come out to be a spotter out there.

Cool. Thanks for that info Sara. Maybe we can muster enough Lonestar LOST interest to make a day of it.

I'm flexible for most weekends except the last one in April. I'm going backpacking for a few days somewhere out of state. I'm not really sure where I will be.

I'm pretty flexible too. I once did the splits in a football game ... hurt like hell...I then had a new appreciation for cheer leaders LOL :D

I was going to take a trip to London in May... but that's probably going to fall through since I can't take that much time from work, but a weekend trip sounds like a blast . . .
