So guys how much water can we ford with our KKs.

Wouldnt want to sink haha

Mines lifted 2" or so .... Im going to get skids for some weekend warrior bits and looking to see what kind of water we can ford I assume we should be able to get to the doors and not worry about water entry in the cabin.

If they are anything like the KJs you'll have no problems above the bottom of the doors . I've been in water up to within 10 inches of the windows before .
What you have to be careful of is where the air intake is and also the speed you go through deeper water
picture shows mine after coming out of the deepest part
( on 265-75s and over 4inches of lift)

IIRC, jeep claims the KK can ford 20 to 22 inches of water at like 5mph

From the 2008 owners manual

Flowing Water

If the water is swift flowing and rising (as in storm
run-off) avoid crossing until the water level recedes
and/or the flow rate is reduced. If you must cross
flowing-water, avoid depths in excess of 9 inches. The
flowing water can erode the streambed causing your
vehicle to sink into deeper water. Determine exit point(s)
that are downstream of your entry point to allow for
drifting.

Standing Water

Avoid driving in standing water deeper than 20 inches,
and reduce speed appropriately to minimize wave effects.
Maximum speed in 20 inches of water is less than 5
mph (8 km/h).

Maintenance

After driving through deep water, inspect your vehicle
fluids and lubricants (engine, transmission, axle, transfer
case) to assure they have not been contaminated. Contaminated
fluids and lubricants (milky, foamy in appearance)
should be flushed/changed as soon as possible to
prevent component damage.

Where are the breathers located? sorry for my lack of KK knowledge.

I've had my KK in water halfway up the doors (about 12" below the bottom of the windows), perfectly dry inside and didn't leak a drop. Granted, I was only that deep for about 10 seconds.

Once I get the rear diff breather extended, I'd have no worries about 18" or so. (with a buddy close by on dry land with a tow strap)

Yep. By moving through the water, the pressure is worst at the front, much less on the sides and back. By staying still, it's equal everywhere.
