Mine didn't come with it and the parts counter told me they only show kits for the gassers? When I bought it the salesman assured me that cruise was easy to add. "We do it all the time" I am just thinking about buying a Limited steering wheel off of E-bay and adding what wiring I need to get cruise and radio controls. Any comments?

My 2005 CRD Sport has all that stuff and much more, why can't they get it? Why did you buy it before it was on the rig? You now have no leverage, before you had all the cards.

I asked them a few times before I signed the papers but had to sign before friday to get 0%. They can have it back if I can't get cruise. Hopefully I can add it. Where is the servo connector that Is supposed to be on there to add the cruise? I see the kits for the 6cyl ......I drive 80miles a day and really need the cruise.

I'm going to take a wild stab at this... my 02 Liberty V6 has an accelerator cable running from the cab through the firewall and connected to the throttle body mechanically. It has a servo which controls the cruise speeds. My 05 CRD LTD with cc has drive by wire potentiometer on the accelerator pedal - no cable, no throttle plate and no servo that I remember for cruise control. I'm guessing the cc is all electronic on the CRD.

I'd roll in to the dealer, talk to the head of sales and put it on the line. You made promises, you get it done or take back the rig. It's in the book or my Sport wouldn't have it, they are just not trying very hard. "The wheel that squeaks get the oil."

They took that one back and gave me one with Cruise,Trailer tow, Tint and SIDE AIR BAGS. I paid the difference but it was only a few hundred dollars. Man I am happy. They had promissed cruise and it turns out that you cannot, I repeat CANNOT add cruise to a CRD Sport that came without it.I was clear before I bought it that I NEEDED cruise. They are making good on what could have been a bad situation.

Can you not buy the CRD in limited spec in the USA?

you can buy a limited, I just wanted a sport with cruise etc. The limiteds ar about $5,000 USD more.....
