Found a pretty good deal on shocks how long will stockers last on CRD. Are these heavier duty than gasser. Rancho RS5284 might be able to get them $27 each for rears. Also how is length on these compared to stockers.

Rancho RS5284 shock.

Upper mount: LS52
Lower mount: LS28
Compressed length: 14.000"
Extended length: 22.125"
Travel: 8.125"

Unless you are looking for a lift, Bilstein HDs work great and are a great value. I ended up with an extra pair of slightly used fronts (less than 1000 miles) and a new pair of brand new rears.

Shox.com has them for $319 delivered (set of 4 # BE5-D916-H0 FR. # BE5-D917-H0 FREE SHIPPING!).

I'll send you mine for $250, delivered. They are the same as what I have on our KJ CRD. They come with a lifetime warranty, so I don't feel the need to keep a spare set. They have about 30% stiffer valving than stock and I think they are perfect for the mostly street driving and heavy towing we do. (BTW, you might want to think about replacing the rear bump stops with Firestone air bags if you tow heavy and don't always use a WD hitch.)
