I know some of you don't like the daystar lift but I put together a nice happy medium. I installed the lift on my stock 2002 prelowered lib and didn't like results so I put it back to factory.Well I went at it again with ome front struts and put ranchos shocks in rear, huge difference! I gained a total of 3 1/2" and rides nice. I chopped front bumper to fit my 265/75/16's and they have plenty of room. I plan on ome spring after I tear up factory 2002 springs, although I talked to a guy who works for Chrysler and he said the 2002 prelowered springs are a lot more resistant to sagging....something about spring rate makes them stiffer and not very prone to sagging and that's why they stood taller because they are same length as 2003-up but don't squish as much. Maybe you more experienced kj guys can chime in and confirm this but as it sits im happy. I'll try and figure out how to add pics as well..lol

Good luck
Anytime you install new springs or spacer lift you should replace all 4 shocks, no struts involved.
It rides better since your shocks were worn out.
Have you got it aligned yet? Also no way to get 3.5 inches of lift out of a 2.5 inch spacer lift. Once everything settles in, bet its lower.
Daystar lift is alright on a brand new vehicle with low mileage but 10 year old springs, all I will say is Good Luck
You know for about 160 more you would of had a full spring lift
But have fun and enjoy

Actually Tom there is.......2 1/2" daystar + 3/4 clevis lift somehow =3 1/2".........I made sure to measure all 4 corners before and after I gained 2 3/4 exactly in rear and 3 1/2 in front which sets it exactly the same height all the way around. I know the springs will wear eventually, and when that happens ill buy the ome springs all around.Try not to be such a jerk when commenting on other peoples projects, they work hard for the money to do them and those of us who do the work ourselves have even more pride in our projects. So when some know it all ( * ) comes along with his negative comments it makes people like him less. Ya ever hear of constructive criticism? EXAMPLE- Wow man that lift looks much better then factory good job! But ya might want to think about ome springs next since you already bought ome front struts and Rancho rear shocks.sweet jeep though!

First: you never mentioned you did a clevis lift
second: just trying to help, after your PM when you joined up thought you'd come around
third: I work hard for my money as well and hate to see people spend it unwisely
My grandfather always taught me to be upfront and honest in what I tell people so that's what I do. Don't have time to sugar coat the world for others :ROTFL:
Sorry you took it wrong
have a wonderful day
