I have the tape on. I liked them better because they covered that small window on the back doors. I'll try to get a pic up tomorrow. For now I think Jeepin_it_real has a topic that shows them. There's bound to be pics of the in channel 1s. Just look around or try google.
Found it:

No point in covering those tiny windows on the back doors, they don't open.

I have the weathertech in channel ones. In channel ones are cleaner and you never have to worry about the tape starting to peel off.

I know, it's just for looks. I think it looks awkward with the channel 1s. I think it looks better with it covering the smaller window, but to each their own opinion.

In channel for my vote...sorry cant post pics but it has already been done anyway. what we need is for someone to post the stick on ones. IMO the stick ons look exactly that...stuck on. you can see the outline of the plastic stuck on the outside of the window and that looks rather....autozoneish if I may.

Keep in mind, the stick on ones give a little bit more space between the guard and the window. so if your a smoker it would be easier to ash and stay dry. but you sacrifice the clean look.

stick on ones also are subject to the elements more so than the inchannels. rain and snow and wind arent the problem so much as car washes.

Stick ons are cheaper

Inchannels obviously go in the channel but are also stick on, or stick in rather. I little more time consuming to install correctly. And you really have to be careful and make sure they are installed properly or when you roll your window up the first time it could catch on the edge of the vent and make it look, well not very pretty. Luckily I was able to get a replacement free of charge. :pepper:

The inchannels also sit closer to the window.

both imo are purely cosmetic. due to the shape of the KKs windows the rain guard is nearly useless because you can only open your window about 3/4 an inch before the guard stops guarding me from the rain.

these are my opinions. im sure you will like whichever you choose. they do look pretty cool.

Sorry I'm a bit late posting these photos. These rain guards are the stick-ons from AVS.

I went with weathertech. They fit closer and I'm not worried about the car wash ripping them off like I've seen. Maybe not now but possibly in a year or two when you live in hot/cold climates, the tape will give way and off they come. Most of the stuff in my KK is from weathertech (rain guards, floor protectors and mats). I've seen the stick ons and they don't look like they are part of the door.

Sorry but trying to post the image didn't work well, the link works better.

For those who asked where I got my rocksliders, they came from http://www.jcroffroad.com/ in my home state. Word of warning though. It would be a good idea to have them powder coated or professionally painted prior to installation. I put about 4 coats of primer on mine, then 2 coats of a spray used on bed liners and they still rusted through a bit. I'm going to take them off this sprint and have them redone because I don't want them rusting after 1 month of being on the vehicle. They come unpainted by the way. They were not as easy to put on as I thought but thanks to a small hydro jack (2 ton), 2 floor jacks, stepson, a couple of hammers and air wrench, I got them on. The rear bolts are a witch to drill but was able to at least get all 4 bolts in (one was a little angled) But they seem to be rock solid. As it and the skids have added extra ballast to by rig, I'm now in the market for some HEAVY DUTY shocks and a lift kit. Not wanted to invest too much and don't need ladder to climb in, thought a 2 or 3inch at the most and a little bigger tire (currently have 235/70-16s). Hey, my MPG has already gone to crap so might as well go all out, right? 26/18 to 22/15 (on a good day). Suggestions?
