Checked in with local 4WheelParts store about a 2" coil lift for my 12 KK; the kit is only rated for 08 to 10. The OME kit comes with struts, shocks, and coils at $750 w/ 0% 6 month interest. I checked JBA's site, nice adjustable build set-up but out of my price range at this time. Did they change the sus. set up on the 12 Arctic edition??? New, I sit near level as is = 18.5" front and 18.75" rear (center hub to fender). I want to keep my oem 16X7 black wheels, thinking of 225/75/16 Duratracs for a all purpose tire or should I try and squeeze in the 245/75/16. My back spacing is 5.5" I think??? I am planning on the md coil rating because no ARB and winch this time. I will add some more weight with rock rails and rest of the skids though. So from your previous experience, what would you do as a "Keep It Simple" daily driver for trips into the snow country & blue moon off road adventures??? The 235/70/16 stock SR-As lack traction on my mossy wet steep driveway so they need to go before I hit the snow. :-)r  :JEEPIN:

While I don't have a parts list for a 12, 08 to 11 KK are the same.

What Digger said. The coils will work great.

Thanks again Digger, I will give the OME MD coils and shocks a try, they will have to order them. 245/75/16 Duratracs with oem wheels. My WJ had a JKS trac bar, do I need that as well? Are the JBA's A-arms required at this stage? I'm liking this KK more and more everyday now. Didn't want to be the #56 WJ (Pinto) explosion fatality in the USA so I jumped quickly into the KK after finding out, we got a lot of crazy foreign drivers here in California.

2 inches is about the max for stock UCA's. You should be fine for a while, but I would advise switching sometime in the future.

Keep them rotated religiously, and make sure your alignment is in check at all times, especially with that Daystar.

... never again.

Duratracs woked great on the WJ with moderate road noise, Silent Armors were even better for rain / snow covered roads but lacked severely once on the snow / mud trails. Held off on OME lift for now, JBA's OME kit price is $30 less than 4WheelParts. Still learning about the woes of KK sus. builds. JBA's lift kits looking better by the minute, have to find out if his 2.5 coil kit levels the KK. Looks to me that JBA's adjust a strut 2.5 lift is worth the extra coin and easy to install at home (a few hundred more after adding back coils/shocks than the OME installed by the 4X4 shop). Noticed some of you ran the RK lift after you sagged 1" in the front and BB in the rear. My WJ ran 100K on BB and UC coils before the OME hd coils were installed with ARB bullbar w/ winch, sat level after OME, the ride was 10 times better too. Dealer confirmed no changes in sus. build for 2012, but warned me that the next generation Libs are going to be more car like  ... Thanks again for all the info, I'll wait for my tax return, do it right the first time. :banghead: I need to keep reminding myself the L.O.S.T. members' famous quote from back in the day "Keep It Simple Stupid"...

Look at the bright side, you've got better tires for every day driving and great for the snow compared to the OEM. They will work fine for light offroading too. In the future, you can still get a seperate set of steelies with less backspace and mud terrains strickly for off road, better traction and you won't wear them out on road. Just remind yourself that over 90% of those lifted full size trucks don't even touch the dirt and it's all for looks. Function before fashion will get you home safely. :juggle:

Ok, I think I am on the right track now. OME HD coils 2927 front, OME HD coils 2731 Rear, OME NS131 front struts, OME N132L shocks rear, teraflex bumpstops front, JBA's KJ 1/4" top plates, JBA's spring isolators rear, JBA's UCA, 245/75/16 Duratracs, allignment, speedo recalibrated for ESP sensors.

Went to the 4WP Truck Fest today  wow, awesome trail rigs. I talked to ARB/OME rep about the KK lift, mentioned that my wife is getting car sick with the stock suspension on curvy roads. He recommended the 2927 HD front coils / 90009 sport strut & 2730 SD rear coils / 60069 sport shock for a smooth daily driver. I placed the order. When I got home and checked JBA's site for his KK OME kits, I figured that I might have to correct the order to NS131 struts and 2731 MD rear coils with N132L shocks. The 2730 coil might sag with gas tank over time, planning on adding the gas tank skid. What do you all recommend who have OME suspensions?

Talked to Marlon at JBA and switching my rear coils order to 2731 Med Duty, staying with the sport struts and shocks since this is a daily driver 99% on road. Going for better a ride quality and to fit the 245/75/16's. Edited my first post because I thought the OEM wheels were black rubicon's  , also edited a few posts back because Boiler's 3/8" KK spacer plates compared to JBA's 1/4" KJ spacer plates to level out. So next month I will have my results and Marco will have his since he is probally going for the maximum height with the HD set up. Hopefully this thread will help some of the other newbies in making the correct suspension builds for their needs.
