My airbag light goes on and off daily. Anyone else's do this? I have heard there could be a number of different things causing it.

My '02 had the airbag light coming on intermittently, with it being worse in warmer weather. One of the two impact sensors mounted by the radiator was bad. Once replaced, not more light after the start up sequence.

Mine too almost every day. Hope the recall happens soon so I do not have to pay to get it fixed.

Now I'm gonna be paranoid! My wife just received a recall notice for her '04 Honda CR-V in the mail yesterday. Her recall also concerns the airbags, except in hers when they deploy, "shards of metal can pass through the airbag and potentially cause injury"!

it's probably just an electronics thing? I did have the airbag light going on and off on a different car, it decided to fix itself some day :D

I heard this on the news. With 210,000 on mine (this weekend), I'm hoping they recall them and freshen up whatever else they find while in there!

My wife received the same letter. Took her '04 CR-V to the local dealer and had it inspected. They said it was fine. If you check for "air bag recall" there are all kinds of vehicles involved. Seems like a lot of the manufacturers may have used the same components/modules, etc. in the air bag system so they're recalling everything. Who knows?!?
