If you just have the low end factory stereo you'll be fine with the cheap basic harness. You have to splice the acc power wire into the cigarette lighter though. I'll check front/rear fade later for you on mine.

Should be fine but you'll need a sat antenna adapter if you want to keep it. The harness it got came with the am/fm adapter.

Works just fine. Front, back, left, right.
Sonicelectronix.com is good too. I got my harness, antenna adapter, and dash kit for like $16 on ebay.

They should be the same. Mine is a square shaped plug for both the sat and am/fm. One is yellow and the other is white.

Square plug single coaxial inside with a clip should be similar to a German vehicle

The antenna is probably the same. You'll probably need the expensive interface for everything else though. At least that's what customer service at crutchfield and sonicelectronix told me.

Yes, i already have the pac performance canbus interface. This also turns on the factory amp (and sends audio signal to it). Iam actually insatlling a carpc along with a dab (digital) radio. My issue is i cant get any reception with the factory antenna on this device.
P.s appologies for thread hijack. Will move all my questions to another post if you wish :-)

Well i know for a fact that the reverse sensors do not need any head unit tp be connected to work as i dont have mine connected and reverse sensors work. As fr volume cut off, it will not work.
