Beans does have a good reputation. Also, I am not up to speed on powerstrokes post 7.3s but on the 7.3s, the injector control module (forget the acronym, IDM or similar) is under the driver side front tire and has a tendency to die if it gets wet. I carry an extra in the car as a "just in case" as this is my "drive 2000 miles in baja on vacation" rig. They are pricey, but I found a place on ebay that carries them, you give them your VIN and they send you one out, for ~$150 (vs around $600-900 roughly). Some fuel filters, crankshaft position sensor and vitron rubber seals for some key fuel seals were the items to have with you if you travel in the middle of nowhere with a 7.3. Maybe there is a similar company that sells used/rebuilt injector control modules for your rig...?
