did you drill your stant? i drilled a 3/16th hole and think i went too large as my temps seem to be the same. just over the quarter mark. might have to get another one and drill a 1/16 hole instead.

Yes I did drill my Stant I went with a 3/32th hole.
I thought about leaving the stock hole but it looked a little to small. Even a 1/8 looked a little too large (3/16 has to to be way too much), I would buy another and try the 1/16th hole first (keep a close eye on the temp). You can always drill it out if it's not enough, remember it's only to move enough coolant to avoid a spike.

yeah figures, take something simple and screw it up in ten seconds flat. Oh well ordered another off ebay, 13.10 shipped.

took a little run yesterday with the lib to pick up an empty 55 gallon drum, it was the last piece I need for a 55 gallon sprayer kit I put together. It is going to be one roundup sprayin machine, need to kill weeds in futre food plots, need to kill about three acres of grasses and no way I'm usin a little homeowner sprayer, or paying what they want for one all set up. 110 dollars and I am good to go.

amazing what a fresh battery will do for ease of starting these things isn't it? I sure can't wait for spring and summer blend fuel, this winter garbage is horrid for mpg.

I think that looks a lot cleaner than what I imagined on mine!

Are those top rail fence posts with the brackets? What size, and how strong do you think those clamps actually are?

R&R Rear Lower Control arms
Replace L-Rear rotor & caliper (odd wear, probably a stuck piston)
Replace rear brake pads

Tomorrow I need to get the right pads - local store sent me home with the wrong ones.
Then replace the hoses (bubbles in the rubber).. then bleed 'em.

Mark

My brother and I put a lift pump in Libb today, it took us about 3 hours. I took a bunch of pix, but I don't have a computer right now, so I can't upload any right now. She runs much better, and I'm sure my fuel mileage will increase as well.

I half put in some new components, Polk DB6501. I put in the mid-bass, and than found out I don't have a 7/32 deep dish to remove the grab bars to get to the tweeters. So right now I haven't installed the cross overs and the tweeters, but even with the stock tweeters things are sounding great! I had put db651 coaxials in the rear two weeks ago.

BTW does anyone know where the split is that goes to the tweeters? I ask because I figured I used the stock wiring (only using a aftermarket head-unit) and want to put the cross over near there.

If your jeep originally had the Infinity system with the amplified door speakers the split is in the front doors at the speaker connection. You can try tracing back to the door jamb where it re-enters the vehicle.

After 4 years the red top Optima battery bit the dust. During the last couple of weeks I had noticed the diesel wasn't cranking over with quite the same vigor, so I had the battery load tested and instead of 1000CCA at moderate climate it was putting out less than 250CCA. So in went a new Sears Platinum battery. Cranks pretty nicely and now I'm not worried about going into the high country for some fun in the snow.

I do NOT have the Infinity system.

re did my stant 13519 thermostat today, initially drilled too large a hole and wasn't running much warmer than before. Drilled a 1/8th hole in the new one and that is the magic number, as now driving down the highway at just below halfway on the gauge. too early to tell if there is any mpg gain, will have to wait till next tank of fuel.
