hi,
I started to hear a serious noise from the right rear wheel, arrived home, removed the wheel, brake, rotor, and found that the pads from the parking brakes were broken in pieces...
i removed every thing (star adjuster, springs, clips, pads) but left the acturator and lever and mounted everything back on and drove...Big mistake.
I did not see that the actuator and the lever were 2 parts. One of the parts hit the drum, the lever fell into the rotor drum...ooops...mixer time !
now, despite the fact my lever is seriously beaten up, i have no idea on how it should be put back together, and didnt find any diagram (for 2007 yes but not for 2005 KJ)....anyone has a diagram ?

thanks !

Go to Sam's NOOB guide and download the parts manual and both 05 and O6 FSMs (the 05 FSM lacks diesel cooling data and diagnostics but has illustration keys - 06 is the reverse). Don't know how helpful they will be but there are parking brake illustrations.
