It's time for new brakes on the KK. I'm looking for some suggestions on what to go with. I need to do the front pads, and rear pads and rotors. I've looked into NAPA and MOPAR so far. Prices are comparable, with NAPA being slightly cheaper. What's the best way to go?

I just picked up some Duralast pads from AutoZone last summer because I had a coupon. They are the second one up from their basic set (partially ceramic) and came with free replacements when they wear out. I haven't had any issues with them and they work well (just as good if not better than stock).

I would have to recommend these, Kragen(Oriley) and AutoZone should carry them, These are fronts. I live in the mountains and do Alot of Braking, these are silent ceramics(no or very little brake dust) and run very cool. On my Tribeca I swapped to these at 15k miles got about 70k miles out of them and after 120k miles on the car still didn't have to turn rotors because of heat warping. No wheel wobble after prolonged braking either...

It will be a 100% custom built job,and no it would not effect the ABS at all.

Decided to go with NAPA. Ordered everything up today. With discounts it came out to about $100 less than the MOPAR stuff would have been. More expensive than the Thermoquiets, but I've seen a lot of reports of them squealing quite a bit. They should be going on Thursday, provided I don't get called into work
