Installing my new a-arms, I'm having a problem. When the new a arms are installed, the knuckle doesn't seem to slide in "towards front diff" far enough to reach the ball joint. It also won't compress the spring quite enough when I'm jacking up on the lca. The hole in the knuckle doesn't line up with the pin on the ball joint.

Are the control arms for separate sides "driver-passenger? I didn't see any information on here or Al's site.

Can the CV shaft slide out of it's socket in the front differential?

Don't want to take the control arms back off to switch sides "not yet anyway."

Wondering if i should get a spring compressor maybe that will make it line up properly.

Some more jacks under the lca and playing with the steering wheel. I was able to get them through.

More than likely the CV slid out a little bit, twist it a little and see if it will go back in, that and a jack under the LCA will help hold it, spring compressor on the front? Hard to do . If you need to pull the clevis in use two rachet straps one on each leag of the clevis to pull it in and helps some, to get things lined up, long bar back in the spring shoving down on the UCA
Shouldn't be any problem if you have the CV lined up and slid in,
