did the adj. on the rear end and put it up on jack stands and ran it and i still have the vibration off the gas and now on the gas. i never had it on jack stands before i worked on it so i am not sure if it would of had the vibration on the gas before. going to get a helper to run the gas while i take a peek on the under side to feel where the vibration is coming from. not sure what else to do.

also, check the "A"arm on top of the differential, some members have reported to cause vibrations when it is going south. It has 3 bushing make sure they are all ok. One more thing, how did you adjust the differential play? The bit of movement on the rear axles in and out is actually normal due to the way the axles are hold at the differential ("C" washers). Any adjustment on the diff has to be well done otherwise you will only create more noise.
