What tires and size are you running? I have the stock Good Years. Shopping now for new 245/75/16. I priced Uniroyal Liberators at Walmart for $96.00 Ea. any ideas about these tires?

I put the rusty's coil lift on and I bought five bf goodrich 245/75/16 at/ko tires at about 3000 miles....I sold the stock goodyear tires to a co-worker for $30 a tire (which was a good deal for her)....I paid $150 a tire for the bfg's (that included mount and balance, etc.) at a local independent tire store called "lee road tire" here in orlando....that was a much better deal than a franchise "allied tire" store down the street....of course, I lost money by deciding not to run with the stock tires for a year or two but it was worth it to me.....I have the stock steel wheels....

I'd never had off-road tires before and I knew that I'd be mostly driving to work and on the interstate....so I decided against the more aggressive MT tires.....I like the tires I have and recommend them....they're a little noisier than the regular street tires but not that bad really.....if I knew they were going to be as quiet as they are, I would have gone ahead and purchased the bfg MT tires.....the AT tires are not directional so you can rotate them to either side of the KJ....I rotate all five whenever I change the oil and they're not wearing out....I run about 38 psi usually and air down to around 22-24 psi when I ride in the woods....I haven't had any problems so far....

I'm not against shopping at wal-mart so don't take this wrong....I just prefer to buy tires at tire shops and hope they'll remember me when I need a tire repaired, etc....

I had the 30X9.50-15 Liberators on my old Cherokee. I liked them, they balanced well, were not loud, did fine out at Suburban Estates in Holopaw, all sand. I am running the MTRs now on the Liberty. People on L.O.S.T seem to like the Bridgestone Revo. Tirerack.com has customer ratings and reviews for many different tires too, great resource for info.

Check out the BFGoodrich Land Terrains at Wal-Mart. I got the 265/75/16's for $100 a piece so I'm sure the 245's you are looking for are a little cheaper. I love the tires, they are great A/T's but have good (but not too aggressive) nubs on the outside walls. They are also 50k mile tires. These are more than worth the price, an all around great deal. Good luck...can't wait for the pics.

I have general grabber AT2. 245 75 r16. They work well so far. I have not had them off road yet. Got em for 96 bucks from tirerack.com. They have a similar tread pattern to bfg all terrains.
