I just got a LBJ from Napa and it has a grease fitting on top. Is there enough room between the top of the BJ and the bottom of the CV to fit this? Or did I get the wrong LBJ.

If its right on top no there won't be enough room to grease it

It is right on top. Is this the wrong BJ?

I wondered about this too. If one were to change the fitting to a 90 degree zerk would you be able to grease it?

Arguing about whether the glass is half full or half empty misses the point: the bartender cheated you.

No room for a 90 degree fitting.

And no it's not the wrong LBJ just bad placement of the grease zerk. The MOOG K3199 LBJ's is what you want with the zerk on the side of the LBJ.
