Another good weekend of progress on the KK....

Played with the parking brake and came up with a solution to fix poor performance ( I think )
Remounted my CB inside the cab...

And the count down continues

That's exciting news. If you confirm that it works, please share.

I got the handle to provide almost full tension (user feel) at 4 clicks. Next weekend I will fine tune the star wheels for proper adjustment. I did the old hall arse in reverse and actuate the handle auto adjust method and got them close. My KK will now sit on my driveway and not move with the e brake on and ion gear when off..... Before I would have to put it in to 4low to get it to stay.

Yea, my phones camera didn't do them justice. They turned out a nice color of red I was afraid they would end up pink though too! xD

Nice pics Rocky, looks like alot of fun.

On a side note, does anyone have the stage 3 JCR sliders? I feel like I keep seeing stage 2 only.

Ordered all 4 skids and a front tow hook for the new KK. Hopefully it all arrives by the end of the week.

I am heading back home to Macomb (North of Detroit) this weekend to install them with the old man. Gonna be a good time and hopefully a straightforward experience.

All of this is in anticipation of my first wheeling trip next, next weekend up in the Manistee National Forest. Life is good.

Set of WeatherTech front and rear passenger floor liners on the way. Starting my search for DURABLE seat covers. Been hauling some wet and muddy scouts lately. Our trip a few days ago on Saturday saw us hiking and setting up camp in a continuous downpour. Our campsite had very little ground above water. :CAMPING: Also installed new wiper blades all the way around, replaced blown fuse for trailer (running) lights, fresh oil and tires rotated. Ready to roll again :JEEPIN:

Go Green, Go White! Your post makes my wife miss Michigan (she is a MI State alum). She knows exactly where you're headed. Have fun, man.

***Removed the molded plastic Jeep splash guards that robbed her of some clearance.

***Bought a used 16" OEM alloy and duratrac. That's mounted under there now.

***Did the tail lights with Niteshades

***Installed the Greek Headlight covers. I left them black, so both the headlights and taillights are dark (which also matches the mirrors/door handles/ trim) Looks sick

Hey there Tech,

Broken clip on the A pillar where it meets the headliner on front passenger side. Not sure how the trim got pulled off. I'm thinking my son did it by accident but afraid to say anything. Who knows though? I dropped it off at the dealer Sunday night so they could replace it/fix it Monday while I was at work. Still doesn't fit quite as snug as driver side but it looks a whole lot better than it did. I saw what I thought was your GC parked as I was leaving dealer Sunday evening. Have you done some trimming? I think I remember you saying you got your lift on but it looks like you have some extra clearance around the rear wheel wells.

I will be patiently waiting on this write up. I want to put the dash speakers in mine as well

Can't wait to see how it goes.

Looks good... any plans to paint the grill black to match?
