I RTV-ed the crap out of the rear hatch weather seal, then cleaned up the mess from the last night's rain storm and washed the stains out of the headliner. Back around Christmas I fixed a leak on the left side of the rear hatch weather seal, and now the right side was leaking. Grrr...

I had the same issue all week, even over small bumps. I installed a lift last weekend, and guess I didn't tighten the sway bar link bolts enough afterwards. After checking everything else, we torqued them down today and haven't heard a rattle/clunk since. Worth a look. On another note, ordered some tow hooks!

Thanks, I'll check the sway bar links (and anything else that seems to have any play in the front suspension).

I had a little clunking too...and what do you know I had to retorque the sway bar link bolts.

Bought a floor jack during Advance Auto's "Earth Day Sale" to go with my jack stands. I hope to have time to crawl under the Jeep next weekend...

Was the weatherstripping separating from the door? I haven't had that happen, but I did have water coming down the rear flipper glass. I got a piece of weatherstripping from the dealer and it fixed the problem.

The water was getting behind the weatherstripping on the car-side, not from the flipper glass. The water dripped down from the right edge of the center trim piece just inside of the hatch, and also saturated the headliner at this location. Over Christmas I installed the weatherstrip for the top of the rear flipper glass ('09 TSB). So the glass is in the clear. :D

If you're looking for some good seat covers, I found this site. Kinda pricey but their stuff looks really nice from the customer pix. I want a set of desert camo since my interior is tan.

I have the gas tank skid in the KK on my way back Chicago, as there wasnt time to install it.
So if anyone in the Chi-city has the tools and space, I could provide a hand and a few beers to get it installed.

Nm got it. read it too quickly and though you did an engine swap. Where did you get the skids from?

Got the skids from a dealer. My dad works for Chrysler, so I had the employee discount, which made it a bit more tolerable.
Too bad I didn't take the time to find one on the lot with the factory option. Oh well.

Thanks for the link. Those look good and are actually some of the better priced ones that I've seen for custom fit covers. I used to have the saddle blanket style in a previous dodge truck but I'm leaning towards a black/charcoal neoprene this time to match the interior scheme.

With that stinger and the fenders off the front, it kinda reminds me of a Cherokee with its fenders cut. I can't see the back getting much flex though.

Spilled coffee on the seat this morning and now I have a stain :( Is there any proven way of getting stains out of these seats?

Use any backing soda based product. Blot with towel to get as much coffee out then spray and let sit. I use pet stain remover for obvious accidents at home but have also used it in cars. Arm &Hammer has one that works wonderfully.

not sure about the seats, but wesleys bleach white works great on carpet stains.

Extended the breathers and cleaned the throttle body. Took me forever to find what I needed for the breathers. No one had 5/16 in line connectors and I was only able to get 2 of the insulated hose clamps. I had to go to 4 stores to find everything :banghead:

MtnLuvr did a really great write up that I followed. In his he says the total cost is around $20, but mine was about $30. It's well worth it though.
