if your not afraid of it... go for it. i've heard once you install gears 1 or twice it becomes much much much more easy. Be prepared to buy a few crush sleeves for the pinon because you'll probably screw a few up before you get the perfect backlash. (this is just what i've heard.. i have not installed gears just lunch box lockers). getting the gears in is no problem.. the set up is the part most are afraid of. worst case is you get the gears in... for some reason cant figure out how to set them up... the you bit the bullet and have someone do it for you. But you dont know until try.


as far as the computer.. with 265/75/16's and 4.10's my speedo is actually closer then it was stock (to gps speed). it is actually almost perfect with no calibration (with a 6 speed manual.)
