Looks great. Haven't seen those wheels before. I like them much better than the stock 20s.

Yeah I feel ya. I got the sport for the same reason, and I cant stand the little bit of chrome it does have. I gotta paint the headlights sometime.

Me too. Just not crazy about cracking open the headlights to do it.

I plasti-dipped my shifter knob last night. No more stupid chrome reflecting sun in my eyes. :BANANA:

I want to dip my badges too, but I can't find anything but black locally and I'm not crazy about doing them black on black. Might have to give in and order some from DYC.

Mine wasn't chrome, it was a plastic brushed aluminum. But I didn't like it either so I got rid of the whole darn thing. :lol:

From where? Last time I checked that thread you had to know someone in Greece to get those.

Edit: never mind, I see the new thread now. How hard is it going to be to paint them to match?

They have them for that price. Took less than 2weeks to arrive for me (east coast)

How hard is it going to be to paint these to match? I don't think I'm going to be okay with unfinished ABS.

There are companies that sell factory color match spray paint. They're probably not a 100% match, but pretty close. Only issue is, one can is usually $15-20. Shouldn't need more than one though.

Just scuff them up with a Brillo pad, paint a few coats, hit with a clear coat.

All together, you'll be in it about $85, and maybe one hours work (minus drying times)

I chose to leave mine black, against the natural green. I love the look of MntnLvr's, but I wanted to be original

Yeah, I'm just not sure how it would look against the black paint. Of course, there's other flat black plastic on it so maybe it would be fine. I suppose the worst that would happen is I hate it and have to pull them back off and paint.

I got these from edrivestore as well, took about a week to receive them. I just put two coats of duplicolor clear coat i had left over from my old xj on each one and stuck 'em on. They match pretty well...

Napa Auto Parts has other colors available you just have to call the store. they will order from their warehouse and it normally takes just a few hours to get them. I Purchased red dip from them, called them that morning and they said it would be in at 4 that afternoon. so if you needed red or yellow etc you could go that route :wink:

Bad phone pics, but plasti-dipped the hood. Most likely going to go over it tomorrow with bedliner for a cleaner (still removable) finish. Update 5/6, went over with bedliner, turned out pretty nice, not perfect, but i like it.
