I don't know if this has been asked already so I'm sorry if it has but, what is the difference between these two headlights? Why does the black one have like a "covered" lower bulb and the red one has an open one? This is probably something everyone except me knows Lol.

Cant see your pics but I'll guess your talking about the fog lights. Some KKs come with them and some don't.

I can't see your pictures. Visit the stickied thread in the "Frequently asked Questions" section about posting pics.

But I'll take a shot in the dark:

Some base-model Sport KKs don't have fog lights, so the circle below the headlights is filled in with a plastic piece where the fogs would be.

Edit: Dang! I was beaten!

Thanks.
Btw, if u right click the icon and select open image in new tab it'll come up.
And is it possible to purchase a fog light bulb to replace that plastic cap, or would u have to buy a whole new headlight?

I don't think so without considerable expense and labor. I don't think Jeep offers the package anymore. The switch I believe would be integrated with the turn signal/headlight wand and it is a complete headlight/foglight assembly.

Ya there is a switch for fog lights on the wand but it just doesn't do anything for me. So I guess I would just have to buy a whole new headlight assembly.

Lucky for you if its got the Switch, you more than likely have the harness in your jeep for the fogs already and you would just need to buy the headlights. For us without the wand i would have to buy all of it... harness wand and lamps

If you have the wires and plug, why not purchase a replacement fog bulb, plug it in and turn it on and see what happens. Couldn't hurt. :2cents:
