How do I get the plastic covers off of the roof rack to get at the mounting hardware without breaking anything? I want to remove them temporarily and I have no idea on how to remove them. I would like to reuse them when I reinstall.

There is a little slot on top. Take your screwdriver stick in a give a little twist.

My understanding is that you just pull really hard. And your not going to be reusing them, most likely. They're attached with a boat load of tape.

said take the side covers off and then 10 mm bolts 2 per each leg
