I just changed the oil in the Jeep (can't wait to get the UOA back on it) and I switched to the Mobil1 M1-301 oil filter for more oil volume. It screwed right on. I added an even 7qts of 5w-40 TDT oil instead of the 6.4qts. After checking the oil on the dipstick.....it definately was higher on the dipstick than with a stock filter with 6.4qts. Usually the oil came up to and just covered the "M" on "Min". Now with the oversize filter and the 7qts it is about 1/8" below the max line which I thought would be a bit too high. Is that level ok or should I drain a bit out?

Thanks, Jim

That's fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

M1-301 with 7qts works.
