Mine just arrived via UPS today, and all I can say is OMFG!!!!
These things look like they came off a tank!!!

Having now seen Super Skinks and Stage 3's up close....... these are EASILY as stout as anything out there.
The one thing that made me do a double take was the outer tube being 1 1/2 inch instead of 1 inch like on
the Rock Lizard slider. Couple that with the 2 X 3 inch main beam and HOLY CRAP!! these things a huge!!

I'll be priming and painting this weekend...... can't wait to get these mounted! :JEEPIN:

1 3/4 or 2 inch then... I didn't measure.
All I know it's significantly larger in diameter.

While rock rails are rock rails, there is still a huge difference in cross bracing and the way different ones are built.

..... Somehow I knew this would happen, so let me clarify...........

I am not in any way saying these are better or worse than any other rails out there.

That being said...

I helped install a set of All J's boulder bars, so I'm familiar with the size, weight, and bracing of their bars.
I've crawled under a KJ with RL Super Skinks, so I've seen that set up as well.

The JCR sliders just "look" massive!! The 2X3 inch main beam coupled with the 2 inch diameter tubing just
makes you want to say OMFG!!! when you first see them.

Now I know RL has his cheerleaders on here, and were I able to get a set of Super Skinks to my door for
what I paid for the JCR's, I would very likely be priming and painting those this weekend.
However, since that isn't the case, .... and since I'm worried more about old stumps and logs in the woods than
I am about limestone steps and boulders the size of Volkswagons, these will suit my kind of 'wheelin' just fine.

Lets not forget the turn around time, they say they build per order and mine arrived 2 weeks after I order. Thats fast.

I ordered some stage 3's a little over two weeks ago. I got a UPS tracking number today, and shipping should take 3-4 days. I expect it to be longer due the Christmas holiday, but I can't wait to get these on my Jeep!!!

Well I finally found the time to finish the install. Looks awesome, I did put the plastic back on and I am happy with the final results. I was also able to use all 8 bolts on the frame rail side. Also for anyone doing this install a right angle drill was necessary. just not enought room for a normal size drill. pics...
