Guys, I knocked up some 10mm spacers to pop onto the bottom of the front shocks, jacked/supported the truck, supported the hub, loosened the upper clevis bolt then lowered the hub away from it to pull the clevis off ... but the suspension just soaked up all the slack until full extension ?? what have I missed ?

Did you take the bottom bolt out?
If not you will have to take a bar and pry down on the clevis to 3/8 of an inch or so then retighten
If you too the bottom bolt out / loosened the top bolts so you can move it around some then it should not be an issue

Hi Tom, no mate I left the bottom bolt in place thinking it would pull the clevis off with the top bolt loose .... obviously not

I'll have another go when I get time (new tyres being fitted in the morn  , so prob be rubbing somewhere from then on  )
