I remember the one time I was there (took the LR3) I was just driving around there, just trying not hit someone and I saw this big mud/sand pit and there was an old Buick stuck, the guy was standing on the roof holding the bumper and they were using a chain to rip him out. Once I saw that, I decided to stay to the simple areas to avoid the rare chance being stuck... :ROTFL:

Growing up in northern Florida, it is my understanding that the redneck riviera is Panama City or Pensacola. I have heard it has been built up quite a bit since I was last there. I image that you would have to go to Carabelle to be in true redneck territory.

Back in the Tampa Bay Area off the Gandy Bridge there's a beach that the locals call it Redneck Riveria-but that's not the technical name.

Somedays there is some Jeep swallowing pits there, most times it's just fun to go hang out. Fishing is great, kayaking is great, snorkeling is surprisingly good. Everyone there is quick to offer you a beer or let you ride their 4wheeler. I go out there alot during with week and it is like a private paradise before everyone gets off work. I can have my own big section of the beach, tie up my hammock and fish all day. Best part is there is no leash law there! My dog loves it!
