I had one pass me on Rt 24 in Freetown Mass. Friendly dude slowed and waved. I didn't know he had a CRD until he passed.

This is why I put 'turbo diesel' decals on the fenders.... lest I be confused with our minivan-powered brethren. :goink:

My RI office is in Middletown. I'm based out of Mansfield MA. There is an identical CRD to mine at the bio diesel plant in Newport. We are planning to do our timing belts in July, using one of the bays at the plant. I'll be doing my rear brakes soon, probably that same weekend.

What!?! Am I the only one left in North Georgia? I'm surprised no one here has seen me! Since we purchased in Aug 05, we've been driving our little beast all over N GA, daily up and down 400 for over a year (for work), to S.C. MANY times (for in-laws), down to FL multiple times (for family) and to CO a couple times (for skiing).

However, that sighting in the visitor parking space at 1400 Lake Hearn in ATL MAY have been me. I bank there at the Credit Union and may have been borrowing the car from my wife who was driving it full-time back then.

I saw one Patriot Blue Limited CRD a couple times going north on 400 shortly after I bought the Libby but I was commuting in a Civic back then. I might have gotten run off the road if I had beeped and waved. :D

I did get a card in my windshield in the parking deck where I work (across the street from 1400 Lake Hearn) when one of my coworkers bought a Libby CRD for his daughter who was going to college (maybe that sighting in Athens, GA.).

Oh yeah, I saw another CRD (silver?) in the parking lot of the ACE hardware on 369 in Cumming a couple years ago. Forgot about that one.

The sightings sure have dried up in the past couple years though. It's a shame. Other than getting totaled, I would expect the CRD's to be going on and on forever...

I'll keep my eye out for ya!

I roll I-85 between the Hwy 129 exit in GA and the Clemson exit in SC when we see the in-laws every two or three months . Sooooo, if someone driving a white Escape Hybrid (the bride's car now) toots their horn and waves, don't run them off the road - they may be a proud, fellow Libby CRD owner! ;)

I'm trying to remember if we ever drove the Libby up to VA; my bride has fam in Colonial Heights. You can see that over the horizon from where you are, can't you? :D

Blue sport turned into the shopping center in Macedinia. Male driver I believe. I almost stalked you into the parking lot to talk jeep with you, but I was running late and had dinner guests coming over. I will keep my eyes peeled for the next time.

I've seen a bunch around Oregon City, light blue sport, a dark blue limited today at safeway. Another silver limeted at safeway recently (spittin' image of mine). And i think there was a dark green one rolling down Mollala ave this afternoon (july.3 ) I was on my bike and couldn't see the back end of it but I thought i heard the turbo winding down as they were slowing.

Sounds like all the CRD's may be migrating to the Oregon City area? ;)

There's a bunch around Portland in general, but yeah, it's like you never see any then boom. All the CRDs show up.

Saw a silver one heading down the 91 freeway in Riverside Ca. I saw the tell tale smoke from the exhaust and quickly followed her off the freeway. At the first light I asked if she liked the diesel.. Then some one blew a horn behind us and she was gone. Wish we could have talked more but she was in a hurry
