So I tried to unscrew the MAP sensor to check it and see if there is any buildup that could be cleaned off. After getting the screw out, the thing doesn't want to come out of the manifold. It seems like it's stuck, even when I pull straight up on it, doesn't seem to budge, except wiggle a little. Any special trick or certain way I need to turn the darn thing to get it out? It was getting too dark and me being inpatient to work it a little more.

You will need to wiggle it a little, it has an oring to seal it up. You have to get it past first. Keep gently wiggling it, It will come out.

I assume you have taken the black plastic wire protective cover off so you have good access, if not doing so at least on 1st removal is a good idea. Then grab it with your fingers or gently with pliers and pull up while twisting it, which way doesn't matter much. The little "O" ring tends to want to stick so on reinstall put a drop of any old oil on the "O" ring so it's easy to remove in the futures. Worked fine for me.
