Anyone have any experience with this item?

Any comparison with the GDE upgrade?

It didn't work.

Caused my RPM to spike in the red and I almost lost the engine.

I thought the company pulled it off the shelf.... no longer available.

There is absolutely no comparison with the GDE tune, it is night and day. The GDE tune offers so much more.

These little plug in modules that modify the fuel pressure reading on the fuel rail to fool the ECU are a waste of time in my opinion. I tried a similar product from an Italian Company that was supposed to improve power....it did improve the power at the expense of fuel economy and went "Bang" after about 200 miles on the open road. I disconnected it so as to be able to carry on and threw the module away.

This "Painful Wiring" website looks very unprofessional to me

There is no replacement for a proper ECU tune such as the GDE one....wish I could easily get the GDE tune here in South Africa. :(

How hard is it to get a tune in your parts?

To get a GDE tune I would have to send my 2002 ECU insides to GDE to get programmed and wait for it to be returned.

The major problem is getting parts out of and back into SA through customs.....they do not understand the concept of sending parts out to be programmed and then have the same parts returned with nothing additional added.

We have some local tuners here in SS but they normally boast that they can improve power by a major amount while at the same time improve the fuel consumption :?

I do not use my Jeep too much these days so fuel consumption/power is actually not really a major issue for me. :)
