I will , the jeep is still at the shop but first thing Monday I will call and make sure.
I just had the oil changed not too long ago and I am running the synthetic, no oil light came on but I have to admit I haven't checked it lately. If that is the case what kind of damage can that have caused ?
What would the knocking signify?
If that isn't it , I read that the timing belt could have slipped and I need new rocker arms, I hope to god that hasn't happened.

It is not the oil it was checked ,
the shop has taken out and tested all the injectors and they test fine, there was a hole in the intake and they replaced that. There is still a loud knocking on the top of the engine , and they have not been able to diagnose and have not gone any further , the next step is they are going to check the timing belt but they do not think that is it at this point as they feel the truck is running smoothly enough to doubt the timing belt slipping but they don't have any other solutions. Does anyone have any ideas that I can point them to before they have to start tearing the engine down?
I really need some ideas.
