Have you given the beast an Italian Tune Up yet?

I've been pulling a 4000 pound travel trailer for the last 4 weeks. I just put a full torque tune for Keith. Still not pulling as well a I think it should. Hoping after this codes go's a way It will pull in 5th with out pulling it down. Right now I'm pulling in 3 with overdrive off. Keith said get codes fixed and see how I like.

Two things to look for: 1. vaccum air leak or the turbo is sticking.

Check the vaccum lines for tiny leaks.

Check viewtopic.php?f=5&t=61240 for a somewhat hidden vacuum leak point.

Only because I save the text and links for maintenance and repair posts that I might need in the future. It's certainly not because I find it easy to relocate older posts without what I've saved although I sometimes can.

What, you mean to tell us that your brain doesn't store memory like a PC after all?

Glad to hear, I've lost track of the number of things I've fixed by 1) simply taking a malfunctioning thing apart and putting it back together with no other action or 2) threatening the thing with a mechanic.

racertracer - no, at my age the file retrieval system on the PC works better for actually finding stuff than the file retrieval system in my brain. On one there is an effective "search" function while on the other I know what I'm looking for is in there somewhere but the neuron based "search" function sometimes doesn't kick in until the oddest moments at which point I better write a note.
