Amsoil is very good oil, I use the pure syn in my engine with the ea filter. The oil and filters are very overpriced in my opinion. A ton of hype to also go along with it. With the introduction of many other syn oil manufactures in the recent years that surpass Amsoil in price and quality I will be switching at my next oil change. Personaly I would never use Amsoils ATF, too many known issues with, if it works for you and your application, your one of the fortunate few. Their syn gear oil may work on paper but it has caused gear noise in my Heep and at the cost of it, never again. At the price of standard gear oil you can change it many times and still come out ahead in price and longevity of bearing/gears. Gotta rememebr there is tons of hype in advertising, the question is, are ya going to pay for the hype or what has worked quiet well for many years? My worthless and experience............
