Took the hour or so hike today to IDParts. Picked up a Turbo to replace my ailing Turbo and a set of Glow Plugs and Controller. Before I got my GDE Tune, I know I had 2 burnt out plugs, so I had Keith program me for the 5V replacements. They had one set that had just came in today. It showed packed on 10/1/12 on the box. About as fresh as you can get them.

Staff there was friendly. They have my full support!

I just sent them an email asking them to sell Etecno GX3123 Glow Plugs.
Hope they do.

Update:

They are Married to the Mopar 5V Glow Plugs and Flash and refuse to sell Etecno GX3123 Glow Plugs.

Clarification. I did not "refuse" to sell them, I simply don't carry them - we don't have a relationship with Etecno at all.

Personally, since Etecno is not an OEM supplier like Bosch, NGK, etc. I myself am uncomfortable putting their product in my Jeep. I haven't heard an outcry of people asking for the Etecno plugs either, so I have no "third party" member testimonials about how their plugs work.

BTW, My 5V work great, just like you said they would. At 30 or so degrees, solid light for a few seconds, and fire right up.

I replaced all my Glow Plugs with the Etechno metal tips about 6 months ago. I installed them myself and it was not done as quickly as others have done it but it was completed successfully. They have performed fine so far but I have not gone through the winter yet. Temps have been 20 + overnight so far. I can report back later. The dash indicator seams to stay on a little bit longer on the colder days but never a problem starting.
