is there a mfrs. date code somewhere on battery ?
I have an '05 Liberty....battery "appears" to be original. At 7 years, I may be pushing my luck for another winter.

I have an '05 with the original red top and I think I'm pushing my luck as well. I've been noticing since winter began arriving here in MN that it's turning over pretty sluggishly in the mornings lately. I actually picked up a new battery this morning from the local parts store, 850 CCA with a 3 yr warranty for $115. I know it's not a Sears P1 but I'm going to give it a try.

I just replaced mine on my '05 a couple of weeks ago...same as yours, noticed it cranking slower and also took longer to start. Got my new battery at NAPA, 850CCA...What a difference in starting!!!!!
